Online courses and conferences in sustainable development
As you all well know, a lot of events and conferences have been cancelled due to the outbreak of the virus known as COVID19. In these trying times it’s still very important to keep updated on the latest news and knowledge in sustainable development. It’s a good thing there are many options to do this in the comfort of your own home:
- Make (video)calls with peers and co-workers with apps and software like Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom and Whereby;
- Read and write blogs and articles on interesting subjects in your field of expertise and interest;
- Learn something new in (free) online courses;
I have found a very interesting website for professionals working in sustainable development positions: DIGITAL LEARNING FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT on dl4sd.org/ . Not only does it offer (free) online courses, you can join an online conference such as the 2nd World Symposium on Social Responsibility and Sustainability on April 27. This is a great way to connect and keep in (digital) touch with people around the world!
If you would like to connect with me or make a videocall, you can send me an email. All details can be found on the Contact page of my website.
I hope everyone gets through this ordeal safe and sound!
